We encourage both our existing patients and new patients to check their eligibility regularly for GMS Cards (Medical Card, Doctor Visit Card, Under 8 Card, Over 70 card etc.) as the thresholds and qualification criteria for same are improving, allowing more patients to qualify.
If applying, we would recommend using the online application process, as both Dr Brian McEllistrem (GMS 54386) and Dr Muireann Clifford (GMS 53710) are enabled for online applications.
Refunds of General Practitioner fees, of Mungret Medical Centre, can be possible to patients from their health insurers. These refunds are dependent on heath insurer's terms and conditions.
Please ensure to always collect your receipt at time of payment and to enquire with your health insurer, as applicable, if a refund is possible.
There is a wide range of organisations seeking the review and/or completion of medical certificates, forms and reports. Mungret Medical Centre offers a wide variety of such services. The review and/or processing of some of these documents will incur a charge at Mungret Medical Centre.
We encourage our patients to review documentation before submission to Mungret Medical Centre and ensure that documentation would be most appropriately reviewed and/or completed at Mungret Medical Centre.

Some health insurance plans will cover some or all of these fees. Mungret Medical Centre will submit claims on behalf of patients with their health insurers for specific services, whilst others will have to be claimed by the patient directly with their health insurer. Please keep all your receipts from MMC and follow-up with your health insurer, where applicable, to claim the expense for refund.
Patients holding a GMS Card (Medical Card, Doctor Visit Card, Under 8 Card, Over 70 card etc.) are exempt from some of the charges above, however many frequently requested services are not covered by the GMS cards.
We would advise our patients, as individuals and families, to apply for their Medical Card(s) (Doctor Visit Card, Under 8 Card, Over 70 card etc.) online, if they are eligible.
Both Dr Brian McEllistrem and Dr Muireann Clifford are listed with the HSE as GMS doctor's.
Medical cards, GP Visit Cards, Drugs Payment and/or Redress Scheme Cards are not accepted at TMB Clinics for medical screening, travel vaccine, or occupational health vaccine services. See price list above for fees.
Consultation is required for before vaccines, apart from when follow-up visits are required in order to complete a course of vaccines that were commenced at our clinic or another TMB clinic.
Before Mantoux or QuantiFERON Testing a Doctor Consultation is required.

Always collect and review your receipt(s) at time of payment as it unlikely that queries/discrepancies will be addressable later. If paying in person you should receive a receipt in paper form, if paying by email it should be emailed. If you have not received a receipt please ask the administrative staff for same at time of payment.

Please note that for the services above, occasionally further test(s) can be required by guidelines/clinically, which are associated with additional fee(s).
Fees for the above services can be payable in advance, at time of making the booking. These prepaid fees are non-refundable in the event of non-attendance or late attendance or cancellation/change of appointment within one working day of the appointment time and cannot be credited against other appointments/services. You may receive a reminder text message (SMS) with a link to cancel in same, this is a general reminder text message (SMS) and cancelling via the text message does not entitle a refund of prepaid fees if within one working day. Fees can be paid over the phone or on our website (once preapproved with a member of staff).
